Spark Mathics was founded by Sri Rahmadhanningsih, a university lecturer based in Indonesia. The initiative began with a deep curiosity about how artificial intelligence could enhance education, particularly in areas with limited access to technology.
In early 2025, as AI tools became more prominent, Sri began incorporating AI-generated HTML modules into her university teaching. While the outputs often required refinement, they encouraged meaningful discussion and helped students develop stronger collaborative thinking skills.
This experience raised an important question. What if AI-assisted learning could be made accessible offline for students living in low-connectivity regions? From this idea, the first prototypes were developed. These were lightweight, distraction-free HTML modules designed especially for primary school pupils.
Spark Mathics is now expanding its vision to reach a broader range of learners, from early primary and secondary levels to university students. The project remains rooted in continuous design improvement, real-world testing, and sustainable partnerships, with a strong emphasis on educational inclusion.
We are currently welcoming collaborators who share our mission to create accessible, AI-supported learning opportunities for all.
